Fostering an Animal

Rita B. Huff Humane Society is always searching for individuals willing to open their homes to adoptable animals in need of special attention. Foster engagements can require anywhere from days to months of in home care depending on the animal’s needs. Some examples of animals in need of foster homes would be;

• Litters of kittens/puppies with no mother
• Litters of kittens/puppies with a mother
  
• Bottle fed kittens/puppies
  
• Animals with specific medical needs
