Foster an Animal – Change a Life 

At Rita B. Huff Humane Society, we’re always looking for kind-hearted individuals willing to open their homes to animals in need. Fostering provides a temporary, loving environment for pets who require extra care before they’re ready for adoption.

Foster commitments can range from a few days to several months, depending on the animal’s needs. Some of the pets who need foster homes include:

• Orphaned litters of kittens or puppies
• Litters with their mother
• Bottle-fed kittens or puppies
• Animals recovering from medical treatments
• Older dogs who need a calmer environment
